Collections

OVAM is a collection of anatomy resources organised into categories according to the species, system and region covered. Original high resolution images of our assets and source files for audio-visual are available to partner organisation. Please contact us to find out more.

Contribute

The museum is a work in progress and further contribution of assets either by individuals or institutions are always welcome. For more information about the background of the project or how to get involved please visit http://www.wikivet.net/. Partnership in the project provides many benefits, including access to thousands of resources in the museum stack which are freely available for use by partners under a Creative Commons licence.

Affiliations

OVAM is closely linked to its sister project WikiVet, an encyclopaedic veterinary knowledgebase. This collaborative initiative started out between UK vet schools but now has partners involved from across the world.

The Online Veterinary Anatomy Museum (OVAM) project was funded by JISC as part of the Content Programme 2011-2013. It aims to provide access to veterinary anatomical resources in the form of a virtual museum.
